Basement oil
discovery in Block 51 (East Al-Hajr) in the Hadhramout governorate
of Yemen .
The Canadian
NEXEN East Al-Hajr operated “Bashir Al-Khir K#4” well, It
conducted a primary test results (October 23, 2006) with average
of 846 BOPD “Condensate Oil” and about 18.9 Million SCF/D of Gas .
This is the second Basement oil and Gas discovery in Block 51
after “Bashir Al-Khir K#1”. |
