Another Basement Oil Discovery - Al-Nilam ST1 well in Al- Uqlah (Block S2).

Another Basement oil discovery in Block S2 (Al Uqlah) in the Shabwa governorate of Yemen.    Al-Nilam ST1 well, drilled to a total depth of 3,090 meters by OMV Company.

It conducted a primary test results (recently on Oct 25, 2005) at DST “Buildup” with average 1800 BOPD,(38 API).

This is the Second oil Basement discovery in Block S2, following the “Habban # A1” well in July 15,2005 (5 Km Farr from Al Nilam ST1).
